Quotes of the Day

The arts help children learn to say what cannot be said. When children are invited to disclose what a word of art helps them feel, they must reach int their poetic capacities to find the words that will do the job. -Elliot Eisner

A linguistics professor was lecturing to his class one day. " In English," he said, " a double negative forms a positive. In some languages, though, such as Russian, a double negative is still a negative. However, there is no language wherein a double positive can form a negative." A voice from the back of the room piped up, "Yeah, right."

Homework for February 15th

I did not post it on this blog, but it's on my portfolio page. Maybe I'll be able to transfer it during class. Thursdays are crazy for me and I can't believe I forgot to post it on this.

Two comments on two fellow edschool bloggers and a needed improvement

Shout out to Kit's way cool graphical geocitites personal webpage, it's aesthetically awesome. I also liked Lauren's pictures of her brothers and how she posted her class schedule...that's a good idea.

I need to get rid of stuff I don't need on my site that was leftover from the template, possible update with information and make all the links link. That was more than required, Mr. Hammond, but my site needs some work!

Later skaters!

You must not know about me...

...so yes. I listened to that song on the radio this afternoon. I believe it is called "irreplacable" and is by an R&B female artist of whom I cannot tell you her name because I don't know it. However, I think that lyric is a fitting title for a first blog post because you must not know about me if you have to read my blog.

Sadly, this blog will mostly enlighten you about the wonderful process of becoming a teacher, and that fantastic profession I will enter rather shortly... so enjoy, if you dare.
